About Learn Italian on Holyday and Benvenuti in Italia

Are you looking for a special way to attract more guests or stand out from the competition? My Italian conversation lessons are designed for those who want to learn to speak Italian in a practical way, without stressful grammar. Your guests will learn through real conversations, using practical examples and everyday situations.

No boring lessons, but an engaging, hands-on approach that helps them communicate with confidence during their stay in Italy.
In addition, my booklet Benvenuti in Italia makes a perfect welcome gift, offering useful phrases with phonetic pronunciation.

Who am I?
I’m Elisabetta Parodo, born in Italy, Italian–Dutch interpreter and translator, author of Benvenuti in Italia and founder of Learn Italian on Holiday. Languages, culture, and connecting are my strengths. You can read more about me further down this page.

What does this program offer?
This program is not about boring grammar lessons, but about practical conversations in real situations. Instead of sitting in a classroom, your guests will learn Italian by actually speaking it in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere.

What makes this different from other language courses?

The focus of my program is on practicality, enjoyment, and helping guests speak with confidence, without fear. There are no exams – just plenty of personal attention, a warm atmosphere, and the chance to immediately put what they learn into practice.

When guests feel comfortable and truly enjoy themselves, they take home not only new skills but also unforgettable memories. And happy guests mean positive reviews, stronger word-of-mouth, and a unique value that sets your location apart.

What can you expect?

Practical lessons in small groups
You guests mainly learn by doing: speaking, listening, repeating, all in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere.

Italian in practice
No classrooms, but the real world: ordering a coffee in Italian, asking for directions, or chatting at the local market.

No boring grammar
They learn in a playful, hands-on way, without heavy explanations. My method focuses on understanding, speaking, and having fun.

Free time to enjoy
Mornings are for Italian conversation lessons, afternoons are free for excursions, relaxation, or simply enjoying a good glass of wine.

Relax and la dolce vita
Besides learning, it’s also about enjoying, laughing, and experiencing Italy as it’s meant to be.

By offering this program, you give your guests a unique and memorable experience that goes beyond a standard holiday – something they’ll talk about, recommend, and remember long after their stay.

Who is it for?

This programme and my booklet Benvenuti in Italia are perfect for your venue if you want to:

Make your offer more attractive with a unique experience that guests will never forget.

Boost positive reviews and word-of-mouth by creating happy, engaged guests.

Stand out from the competition with an original and exclusive service.

Generate extra revenue through more bookings and higher guest satisfaction by personalizing their guest experience.

Attract returning guests who will recommend your venue and want to relive the experience.

Why is Guest Experience Personalization Important?

Guest personalization is crucial for several reasons:

    • Enhanced guest satisfaction: Personalized experiences make guests feel valued and understood, leading to higher levels of satisfaction.
    • Increased loyalty and repeat business: Satisfied guests are more likely to become loyal customers who return for future stays and recommend the hotel to others.
    • Positive reviews and word-of-mouth: Satisfied guests are more likely to leave positive reviews and share their experiences on social media.

This course is designed for beginners, but also for those who already “speak a little” Italian.

They’ll pick up the basics of the language in a practical and enjoyable way. They'll learn to introduce themselfs and carry out simple conversations. It's all about doing, experiencing and enjoying, not about perfection or grammar.

Learn Italian on holiday – at your location in Italy

I offer Italian conversation lessons on site, by the sea, in the hills or at your agriturismo. My approach is personal, playful, and above all practical: your guests learn Italian by experiencing real-life situations.

I don’t work with standard packages, but with tailored solutions, designed according to the needs of your business and the type of guests you welcome.
Whether you run a B&B or organize retreats, I come directly to your location with a unique lesson program for your guests.

This setup is flexible: a full-week program, individual lessons, or a combination with activities such as cooking workshops, excursions, or yoga.

Would you like to know more and explore if we can collaborate? Feel free to contact me to discuss possibilities and see how we can make your guests’ experience truly unique.

Example of collaboration with Kookvakantie.com

In the summer of 2026, from May 16 to 23, I will start an inspiring collaboration with Kookvakantie.com by Barbara Valletta.

Together, we created a week that combines Italian conversation lessons, cooking workshops, and la dolce vita in Abruzzo.

This is a concrete example of what a collaboration with your venue could look like: language, culture, and in this case cuisine, all in a beautiful location near the Adriatic Sea.

The idea is simple yet effective: offering guests a stay that goes beyond a traditional holiday – learning, tasting, and experiencing Italy in a unique way.

Included in the programme:

  • 7 nights at B&B Beachhouse Pineto

  • Daily breakfast + unlimited Lavazza coffee and tea

  • Welcom drink on arrival

  • 2 cooking workshops including extended lunch with wine, water, and soft drinks

  • 5 to 6 Italian conversation lessons of 1 hour and 15 min. (total 6 to 7.5 hours), before the cooking workshops

  • Visit to the local market in Atri

  • Superfast WiFi & in-room streaming

The complete language and cooking holiday costs €1,465 per person, or €1,415 per person (based on a shared room).

About me

I’m Elisabetta, born in Cagliari, Sardinia.
When I was nine, my family moved to the Netherlands — and three months later I was already speaking Dutch. My very first interpreting job? For my parents.

Languages have always been my home.
I speak four (Italian, Dutch, English, and German) and work as an interpreter and translator Italian–Dutch (both ways!). I also teach Italian conversation and give private lessons, but my greatest passion is...interpreting. Switching live between languages, sensing the moment, playing with tone, timing, and context. And soon available in German and English too – so even more Italy lovers can enjoy it.

And when I’m not working? I’m reading. Or writing. Or eating, like any true Italian, with passion. And of course… preferably Italian food!

I love simplicity, animals (especially my little dog), and real conversations.
Maybe that’s also why I wrote Benvenuti in Italia: a playful little book for Dutch-speaking travellers who want to speak Italian. No grammar stress, just short dialogues with phonetic pronunciation. Simply talking. Understanding. Connecting.

The photo next to this isn’t a polished press shot – it’s simply Elisabetta.
In Sardinia. With pizza. And my dog.

Curious about my book or about learning Italian on holiday in Italy? Or interested in a collaboration?
Feel free to send me a message – I’d love to hear from you!
